Corvo cosplay by Fervid-Reverie Corvo cosplay by Fervid-Reverie
My cosplay of Corvo from Dishonored. The mask was from our employee launch kit at GameStop. We are supposed to photobomb people for a contest. The best part is, the post-Collossal com meet up is tomorrow. Mwahaha....

Nope. There aren't very many of these masks. Select GameStops got one as a promotional item for their store.

Seriously, do you sell this mask? I know I am not the first to ask, but I seriously need it, hah. It would be a dream to cosplay as Corvo in May!

There are numerous ways you could make one yourself. The method I'm going with involves using a program called pepakura which can turn 3d objects into 2d templates which can be printed onto card and folded and stuck into the shape they are meant to be. After that you can strengthen them with fiberglass and resins. Check out "the hero tutorials" on youtube that go through the entire process.
However due to the somewhat organic nature of the skull I'm going to take the fiberglassed paper model as a base and sculpt on it with miliput which sets into hard plastic after a couple of hours. After that I can sand it down and paint it.

Another method would be to make a mold of your own head and cast it in plaster of paris (you can find tutorials for this easily enough and the materials really aren't that expensive) once you have the head cast sculpt on it with oil based clay and then cast the mask in resin. It may sound hard if you've never tried it but what is life but one long learning experience. The information is out there all you need is the motivation to try.

for the first part, think before you go off like that, I know what and how to do Pepakure, I just suck at it, as for the cast, I am just not that talented in molding.

wasn't going off at anyone and I apoligise if it came off that way I was just offering you a few options. Seriously man don't worry about supposed talent my first attempts came out as a mess and I wasted a lot of card and hot glue but as with most things you just kinda crack it in the end.
